Q: Do you speak any other languages?

Yes, I am fluent in English and Spanish. I have also dabbled in the study of German, French, Italian, and Latin (despite it being a dead language). Learning a new language as an adult uses a new portion of your brain that would otherwise go unused. I find that expanding my ability to communicate and to learn different forms of sentence structure as well as grammar to be beneficial to my developing understanding of storytelling.

Q: Do you like to listen to music when you write?

I almost always listen to music when I write. I find that it relaxes me or puts me in the mood. I read a study that music can help you maintain attention to a task which is why good music in video games proves to keep gamers engaged and trick them into playing longer. Since I struggle with severe ADD, this has proven to be a good way of maintaining my focus, especially during the times when I don’t actually want to do any writing.

Q: Do you have a favorite song or band?

There are a lot of types of music that I like, however there are a handful of bands that I like the most. My top three bands are Angels and Airwaves, Blue October, and New Order. My favorite song from each band are: Rite of Spring by Angels and Airwaves, Hate Me by Blue October, and Blue Monday by New Order. My Favorite music to write/paint to is a mix of Classical Piano and Violin or orchestra soundtracks recorded by Two Steps From Hell.

Q: Do you have a favorite movie?

With no hesitation, my favorite movie would have to be The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. But with all things considered, I can never just watch one without watching all of them, so the entire trilogy is my favorite.

Q: What is your favorite book?

This is perhaps the hardest question for most writers to answer. Though this answer may change from time to time, if I had to settle on just one, it would be “The Horse and His Boy” by C. S. Lewis

Q: When is your birthday?

I was born at a very young age on June 11, 1996. I do not remember it, but from my understanding, it was a long day for my parents and my father studied from his chemistry book while my mother sat in labor.
