Yes, I am fluent in English and Spanish. I have also dabbled in the study of German, French, Italian, and Latin (despite it being a dead language). Learning a new language as an adult uses a new portion of your brain that would otherwise go unused. I find that expanding my ability to communicate and to learn different forms of sentence structure as well as grammar to be beneficial to my developing understanding of storytelling.
